ITINERARY OF 10 DAYS DESERT TOUR
Day 1 : Arrivall in Marrakech
Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport, where your driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy free time to explore the medina, the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square, or simply relax and prepare for the journey ahead. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day2 : Marrakech ->Ait Ben Haddou -> atlas mountains -> dades valley
Depart early and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. Stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for its role in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue through Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film-industry hub, before arriving in the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations. Overnight in Dades.
Day 3 : Dades valley-> Todgha valley - > Sahara Desert
Visit the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where canyon walls rise up to 300 meters above a narrow river. Continue through the lush Ziz Valley palm oasis toward Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. In the late afternoon, mount a camel and trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, watching the sunset paint the sand gold and orange. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and live music around the campfire, then sleep beneath a blanket of stars in a desert camp.
Day 4 : Merzouga -> Marrakech city
Wake before dawn to witness a spectacular Sahara sunrise over the dunes. Ride back to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, freshen up, and begin the return journey across the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for scenic photo opportunities along the way. Arrive back in Marrakech in the evening. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 5 : Visit Marrakech Medina -> Departure to Airport
Enjoy a final morning at leisure in Marrakech — perhaps a last stroll through the souks or a visit to a nearby garden or palace. Transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure.
