Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a visit to the coastal Hassan II mosque, the world’s third-largest mosque with the world’s highest minaret (210 m). It was designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau. The mosque can accommodate 25,000 worshippers inside, as well as 80,000 in the courtyard and surrounding squares. It is one of the few mosques that allow non-Muslims to visit.

After breakfast, depart Casablanca for Rabat, Morocco’s political capital overlooking the Atlantic. Explore the 12th-century Kasbah of Oudaias, with its clifftop views, quiet streets, and white Spanish-influenced buildings. Visit the creatively carved front gate, the Andalusian gardens, and the national jewelry museum showcasing Roman and Islamic artifacts.

Next, visit the iconic Hassan Tower, an unfinished 12th-century minaret, and the serene Mohamed V Mausoleum, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl,” where you’ll stay overnight in a charming riad , included breakfast .

After breakfast, we will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the morning exploring the 2000-year-old ruins, which feature amazing mosaics from the third century BC. Lunch will be taken in Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities.

After lunch, your guide will take you on a tour of Meknes’ sights, including the majestic Bab Mansour Gate, the greatest of all Moroccan royal getaways. The gate is well-preserved, with elaborate Zellij and inscriptions on the top,Sultan Moulay Ismail (Meknes’ founder) built it in 1732 .You will then have opportunity to tour the heart of Meknes Medina: el-Hedim, the wide square facing Bab El-Mansour. Historically used for royalty statements and public executions, it’s a lovely spot to sit and watch the locals by with sellers offering miracle cures, and families promenading… you’ll head to Fes. Overnight  stay in  your accommodation in fes city

Today, explore Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital and oldest city, with a local guide. Visit the Medina’s narrow streets, vibrant souks, and historic sites, including Al Karaouine Mosque and University, a religious hub that holds up to 20,000 worshippers. Wander Fes el Bali, a medieval maze of markets, tanneries, and mosques, and see donkeys carrying goods in this car-free area.

Discover the Medersa Bou Inania, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and a pottery cooperative. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to connect with locals and soak in Fes’s rich culture. Overnight at your accommodation.

After breakfast, travel south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland” for its cool climate and alpine-style architecture. Leave the city behind for the serene Middle Atlas Mountains, passing scenic valleys, cedar forests, and nomadic shepherds with their flocks. Spot Barbary apes before continuing to the Sahara, with stops at local kasbahs, palm-filled valleys, and frontier towns like Erfoud, en route to Merzouga.

In Merzouga, a remote Saharan village near the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, store your luggage at the desert camp, ride a camel to watch the sunset, and spend the night in a desert tent under the stars, enjoying a traditional meal and Berber music by the fire.

Wake up to a stunning sunrise before leaving the dunes and heading west to Rissani, a historic market town with a unique “donkey parking lot” and vibrant craft workshops. Once the kingdom of Sijilmassa, Rissani was a key caravan hub connecting Tombouctou to Moroccan cities like Marrakech and Fes. Its authentic market still thrives, bustling with farmers and nomads on market days (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday).

Continue through lush palm groves and Berber villages to the 984-foot (300-meter) deep Todra Gorge. Explore its beauty and relax by the river before heading to the Dades Valley to admire sand castles and the famous “monkey toes” rock formations.
